How to Unsend Story Reactions on Instagram

Quick reactions allow you to respond to other people's stories on Instagram. Laughing, horrified, love eyes, crying, clapping hands, fire, party popper, and a hundred points emojis are among the eight rapid emotions available on Instagram stories.

Using rapid reactions on Instagram stories is a breeze. Simply swipe up the storey or select the comment box at the bottom to respond. This will display your screen's rapid response. Then, depending on your preference, you can respond to the narrative by texting one of the short reactions.

When you respond to someone's storey, a message appears in that user's conversation. This reaction response will be saved in their conversation for the rest of their lives. The person can also send a text message, an emoji, or a double-tap heart reply in response to your reaction, just as they would with normal texts.

A message shows in the chat when you answer to someone's storey. This reaction response will be remembered for the rest of their lives in their discourse. In response to your reaction, the person can send a text message, an emoji, or a double-tap heart reply, just like they would with normal SMS. On your iPhone or Android smartphone, open Instagram.

  1. In the upper-right corner of the screen, click the DM button (send or paper aircraft icon).
  2. Open the user's chat to whom you mistakenly sent the storey reaction. It'll be at the top of your Direct Messages list.
  3. This is where you'll find your storey reaction. "You reacted to their narrative," the notification states. It also displays the storey preview (if it hasn't expired) as well as the emoji reaction. Simply press and hold the message for a long time.
  4. In the pop-up box that displays on your screen, select Unsend Message. That is all there is to it.
